Minority staff of the US House Judiciary Committee. Ranking Member Jamie Raskin wrote to Jared Kushner (letter dated 2026-08-24, press release 2026-08-25). The letter asks for records on Kushner's Albanian dealings, cites a purchase of disputed land for more than $120 million, and says it will examine whether conduct warrants scrutiny under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The letter has no subpoena power and is a minority-side request. Republican Chairman Jim Jordan is copied.
