Rama visits Israel; joint declaration marking 25 years of diplomatic ties
Rama visited Jerusalem and met Netanyahu. The two sides signed a joint declaration of friendship marking 25 years of diplomatic relations, a medical research cooperation agreement between hospitals, and an agreement with Yad Vashem on Holocaust education (Tirana Times, Algemeiner). Rama sought Israeli investment and know-how and cited security, cyber, water and energy as areas of interest (Tirana Times).

Albania's government announced a working visit to Jerusalem from 25-27 January 2026. Rama attended an international conference on combating antisemitism and met Netanyahu on 26 January.
