Biography

• Fatos Tushe is a former mayor of Lushnje. SPAK arrested him in July 2021, with about ten other officials, over an irrigation-canal tender of about 24 million lek, alleging breach of fair competition and falsified documents. The Prime Minister removed him from office after the arrest. Tushe and 19 others requested a shortened trial, which the court accepted. The GJKKO appeal court later also found him guilty of breaching equal treatment in tenders and increased his sentence, reported as 3 years and 4 months in total.From the research record
